Pack Accordingly
Be sure to bring a bag full of all the things you or your kids may need during the day. This could be anything from snacks to medicine to sunscreen! This will come in handy in the middle of the day when someone needs a certain item.

Have a Plan
Before you head out, call ahead to make sure the farm or attraction is open that day, and double check the times. Even if dates and times are posted on their website, weather can sometimes affect hours or can completely cancel an event.

Hydrate
Being outside all day can sure make one thirsty, especially if the sun is beaming! Make sure to pack away enough of water for the whole clan to enjoy throughout the day. This is a safe way to keep everyone energized all day long!

Allow the Kids to Participate
Instead of just tagging along, allow the children to take part in the activities, even if it's just some apple picking. Once you get home, allow them to join in on the baking fun!
